The Black Box (Eucalyptus largiflorens) is not as common in Queensland as our other varieties.
Our hives producing this delightful honey are situated in Black Box forests on the flood plains of the upper Murray Darling basin.
A silky smooth honey, light coloured, with excellent density, medium sweetness and a beautiful buttery-sugar like flavour.

Raw honey will crystallise, particularly during cooler weather, with rare exceptions like Yellow Box. Simply stand the honey in warm water to re-liquify.
